- In June 1988, China Inorganic and Nonmetal Material Technology Industrial Company(CINT) was approved by Commission of Science and Technology of People’s Republic of China and registered in the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of China.
- In 1996, CINT consolidated with Zhongbei Glass Company to establish China General Inorganic and Nonmetal Material Technology Company(CGIN) upon the approval of State Bureau of Building Material .
- In 1998, CGIN was renamed China Inorganic Material Technology Industrial Group Corporation(CITG).
- In 1999, CITG was separated from State Bureau of Building Material and merged into China New Building Materials Company (renamed China Building Materials Group Corporation later on).
- In January 2003, CITG was renamed China Composites Group Corporation(CCGC) on approval of China Building Materials Group Corporation.
