The ICC T20 World Cup 2021 was originally scheduled to be held in 2020, but is now being held in 2021 in Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The ICC T20 World Cup 2021 was initially scheduled for October 18th to November 15th 2020. In 2020, the International Cricket Council (ICC) assured that India would retain the hosting rights for the T20 World Cup. However, due to COVID-19 in India, the tournament had been canceled. Officially shifted to UAE/Oman.

The ICC T20 World Cup 2021 schedule is available officially released by the International Cricket Council. The qualifiers round will begin on October 17, and end on October 22. The Super12 round in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 begins on October 23 and will continue until November 08.

The knockout round for the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 begins on November 10, with the first semi-final taking place in Abu Dhabi, followed by the second semi final and the final taking place at Dubai.

The tournament will take place in Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), at four venues: Muscat, Dubai Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. Only the qualifier matches and the whole Super12 will be played in Oman. The knockout round for the T20 World Cup 2021 in Dubai will be held in the UAE.

The tournament will host 45 matches, including qualifier matches. The ICC already split the four pre-qualified teams into two groups. The ICC T20 Team Rankings dated February 20, 2021 was used to determine the qualification. Let’s take a look at four groups in which the teams are placed before we move on to the official schedule for the ICC T20 World Cup 2020.

The official schedule for T20 World Cup 2021 was released by the ICC. There has been a lot of excitement about the schedule. In their first Super 12 match, the Men in Blue will take on Pakistan. This will also see the start of Group 2.

Team India will take on New Zealand in a blockbuster clash on October 31st in Dubai. In Abu Dhabi, India and Afghanistan will face off in a thrilling clash on November 3. The Indian Cricket Team will then face the 1st qualifier in Group B on November 5, followed by the match against Group A’s 2nd qualifier on November 8. These matches will be played at Dubai.

ICC T20 World Cup 2021 India Squad

As the favourites to win the T20 World Cup, the India National Cricket Team will enter the tournament as the hot favorite. This theory can be attributed to the depth of squad management at India.

There are 25 players in the pool that is ready to face any challenge at this year’s T20 World Cup. However, the BCCI has yet to announce India’s final T20 World Cup squad 2021.

ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Groups And Team List

Twelve teams will compete in the Super12 round at the ICC T20 World Cup 2020. Eight teams from these 12 teams have qualified for the Super12 stage in the T20 World Cup 2021. Based on the ICC T20 Team Rankings, March 20, 2021, this qualification was made.

The 8 teams will be joined by 4 additional teams, which will divide them into 2 groups. These four teams will be chosen based on the Qualifier round at the T20 World Cup 2021, which will take place between October 17 and 22. The qualifier rounds will see four teams divided into two groups: Group A and B.

Group A includes Sri Lanka, Ireland and the Netherlands. Group B includes Oman, Scotland, Papua New Guinea and Bangladesh. Eight teams have qualified directly for the tournament. They have been split into two groups: Group 1 and 2, where 4 teams are placed in each group.

ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Tickets

The ICC has not yet confirmed whether spectators will be permitted in the stadiums of the T20 World Cup 2021. The International Cricket Council has not yet put tickets up for sale. Reports have indicated that IPL 2021 will allow spectators to enter the stadium at the last stage.

All matches in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 are being played in Oman and the United Arab Emirates. Qualifier matches will be held in Oman, while the Super12 and knockout stages will be held in the United Arab Emirates.

All games in Oman will be played at Al Almerat Stadium, Muscat. In the UAE, three venues have been chosen for the T20 World Cup: the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Dubai International Cricket Stadium, and Sharjah International Cricket Stadium.
